LT out this week?

According to the Union-Tribune, the Chargers are considering possibly sitting star running back LaDainian Tomlinson (groin) in Week 9 against New Orleans. With a bye in Week 10, the team could rest L.T. for three straight weeks and get ready for a playoff push in the second half of the season.

I dont have a LT but im thinking of picking up Jesse Chatman and dropping Mewelde Moore, would this be wise? I need a running back this week because ahman is on bye and westbrook is hurt. My other running back is k. jones

Don't drop Moore for Chatman.

Everything I read shows LT as probable for Sunday's game. Still, I wouldn't drop Moore for Chatman.

LT sitting is possible, but unlikely. It's not that he's too hurt to play, they just want to give him a full 2 weeks to rest. I'd expect him to play just as he's done in the past few weeks, coming out somewhere in the late 3rd/early 4th quarter, depending on the status of the game.

Unless you hear something certain, don't even think about doing this pick up. Moore's job is in jeapordy, but it's not lost yet. Not worth dropping him to pick up a backup.

I actually think he will come out much earlier in the game than he has in the last few weeks. I think Chatman has shown that his success wasn't a fluke since he was able to do it for the last four games. I think they will start LT but could start resting him as early as the 2nd quarter and unless the game is very close I could see him sitting out the entire 2nd half.

well i guess the question is who will have a better week? b/c I dont plan on using moore much after this week unless something crazy happens in minesota
