I hate those two. and pennington, he throws less to his receivers than vick does. as of right now, I would take mccareins, but last year I think santana went 5 straight games with a td near the end of the season, so maybe we will see some of that.
The Jets enjoy success with ball control and clock management...
Pennington suits the system well...
Martin's revival and a stronger defense only help this cause
both Moss and McCareins are not being utilized properly either
although both are quite capable of playing the slot.... Moss would be better suited inside with McCareins and Baker stetching the field
Moss has a difficult time coming off physical defenders who effectively use the bump ...not to mention still warrants most of the double coverage schemes
Moss's great stretch last year ...was actually during midseason... not late ....his last six games were mediocre at best
McCareins seems to still be adjusting to his new role ...but coming along

it was 5 straight games without a td.
He went 7 straight games (week 5 through Week 11) WITH a TD. That's what the original poster was referring to.

he wrote "near the end of the season." week 5-11 is the middle of the season.

He was referring to a streak in which Santana had many TDs in a row. You think your example (the exact opposite) is true or mine (when did have a streak of TDs)?
either way i wouldnt expect a big turn around for either reciever, i think they will both post similar numbers to eachother and be average at best. teh jets are winning on the ground and there is no reason to change that.
