Starting two backs on same team???

Postby motor61 » Thu Nov 04, 2004 2:25 am

Is this dumb? I am desperate next week since Taylor is on a bye. I have LT2 and Chatman, I was hoping I could have used Travis Henry in my bye weeks, but you know how that is going. I think Chatman will get some carries this week, does it make sense do play two backs on the same team in the same week?

QB- Warner, Pennigton
RB- Tomlinson, Taylor, T. Henry, Chatman, Toefield, Cloud
WR- R. Moss, R. Wayne, Lloyd, Burleson,
TE- Eric Johnson
k- Dawson
D- Baltimore

I rarely ever advise starting two RB's from the same team, but you can't start Henry so LT2/Chatman isn't a bad idea. I'd give it a green light.

normally I would say no too, but I am doing the same thing this week. I think it could work because the saints D is not good so if the chargers get up big (Hopefully with a td from LT) then they bring in chatman the second half and he gets a td too:) It is either chatman or moore/smith for me and I have no idea what to make out of the minn mess yet

If only I had this problem a few weeks back I would have been forced to use Holmes and Blaylock and they both would have gotten me 4 tds!! I would do it rather than play Henry.
