You mean someone legitimately picked up a player in the FA Pool that will get some playing time now?

Tar and feather him!

I picked up A-Train and dont have TJ. The owner of TJ picked up Droughns when I had Griffin.

It sucks if you dont get the backup, but thats FF.

That's funny my buddy and I were just talking about this yesterday. I think it is your fault that you did not pick A-Train as soon as you saw Jones go down.

However, I do think it is unethcial (is that even a word) to pick up someones back up before they even get injured. Such as having Maurice Morris on your team riding the pine while Shaun Alexander is on someone elses squad, basically you are waiting for a top tier RB to get injured and as soon as he does you have a starting rb on your sqaud. Sorry to ramble I think that is just wrong.

Tbones,
I completely disagree. I have S.Jackson on a number of teams, none of which have Faulk. I see nothing unethical (real word, yes) about that, whatsoever.

In very deep leagues, sometimes your second or third RB's are only going to be backups, ala Jordan or Henry or Davenport.

this forum can be silly sometimes with all of the ethical objections.

If you want a player, draft him or pick him up from the FA pool.

You don't get dibs on a player just because you have the starter in front of him. No amount of twisted logic can change that.

The FA pool isn't some holding ground. Any player in the league is fair game for anyowner, as long as he is on the draft board or in the FA pool.

what is the point of playing if everyone is going to dictate the strategy, lineup and personnel that is "ethical" to use.

the point of games like this are that they are as close to amoral as you can get.

Ok ...here's the plan...

that guy that grabbed A-Train from ya ? ....well first, go out and grab the back-up player of the best player on his fantasy team...

Next ... find a metal pipe, Tanya Harding's crew and go "take care of business" (if ya know what I mean)

Good Luck,

I don't think it is unethical. I picked up A-Train and dropped Moore because of the RBBC mess in Minny....plus Dillon's status is still up in the air. But even without those factors, it's fair game IMO.

Of course my opponent this week having TJones is just a minor coincidence.
