I'm a former USC All-America and I was the No. 1 draft pick by my team.
As a rookie, I led the NFL in punt returns and (at the time) set the club record. I also saw limited action as a wide receiver, particularly late in the season, and had a game winning touchdown catch in my first championship game.
My performance at WR in that game was only a preview of many spectacular games to come over my eight year career.
The thing that did it for me was the length of his career. I remembered that Swanny only played for like eight or nine years. Actually, I think he played for nine years, which is why I wasn't sure if I got it right.
