I Apologize

Postby 204BC » Fri Nov 05, 2004 3:31 pm

I am personally responsible for just about every injury in the NFL. For those of you who have injured players on your fantasy team.....I'm sorry.

I started off 5-0 and am now at 5-3. It seems as if I have every injured player in the league. Some that I had and have since dropped from my roster include Kellen Winslow Jr, Quentin Griffen, Tyrone Calico, Julius Jones and Deshawn Foster. Add those to the list of players on my roster now and you might start feeling sorry for me. The part that really sucks is that my league has 25 man rosters, out of which you start 1QB, 2RB's, 3WR's, 1TE, 1K, and a defense. With 12 teams in the league there is absolutely nobody available on waivers, and if someone does show up that might be useful (Rueben Droughns for example) you have to be super fast in grabbing him. The main reason I'm posting this is to warn any of you who might have any of my non-injured players on your team. If you do, I advise you to trade them right now because if I have them on my team, they're going to get hurt. Here's my team:

QB: Trent Green, David Carr, Steve McNair (inj)

RB: Corey Dillon (inj), Brian Westbrook (inj), Thomas Jones (inj.) Reuben Droughns, Amos Zereoue, Dorsey Levens

WR: Randy Moss (inj), Roy Williams (inj), Torry Holt, Keenan McCardell, Jerome Pathon, Jabar Gaffney, Wayne Chrebet, Shaun McDonald, Robert Furgeson, Eddie Berlin

TE: Jermaine Wiggens, Jeb Putzier

K: Phil Dawson, Neil Rackers

Def: Washington, Arizona (who, other than last week, have actually been pretty darn good from a fantasy perspective)

If it's not too much trouble, please trade away Keenan, R.O.Y. and Rueben as soon as possible.

Yeah, please take Trent Green off of your roster too. He's struggled enough without your jinks. ;-7

I'll second that, In fact just drop Roy to the FA pool now, he's already hurting a little too much for my likes!!!

Don't suppose you could trade for C-Pepper, could you? I'm facing him this week and with Randy dinged and your voodoo, I could possible win!
Thank God for Football Season.

The only three players you have that I have are already hurt.

Moss, Williams, and Jones.

Oh, BTW, Thanks! :,-(

why do you guys always identify Roy Williams as R.O.Y.?

Roethlisberger is going to be the Rookie of the Year.
