i actually read that in the Unstoppable Bathroom Reader the other night while i was drunk and it suprised me because i always thought fifths were the smaller .250(i think) bottles, the ones that are the size of a large flask.

A fifth IS 25 ounces, but thats not 25 shots. A shot is not an ounce.
A shot is 1.5 ounces.
Hence Fifth = 25 ounces = 16.6 shots
Trust me i know for a FACT there is not 25 shots in a Fifth(.75L) of alcohol.
But i will take a look over your rebuttle if u think differnt.

damn i always thought shots were 1 ounce but youre right. apparently 1 ounce shots are "pony" shots. should have known better than to argue with a man who calls himself Alkaholik
or if its someones bday i buy em a fifth of crown.
But my casual drink is either jack on the rocks or jag with some red bull, which i am poundin as i type this.
i love jager bombs, i could drink them all night long. last semester all my room mate drank was crown so im sort of tired of it, still the first time i tasted it i thought it was soooo good
I had one at my cousins wedding a year or two ago, it was pretty good. But, I'm sticking to my bottled root beer for now.
Uggh, the only good thing about Beast is that if you drink 3 of them quick enough your tongue kinda goes numb and you won't taste that awful stuff for the rest of the night if you keep drinking.
btw: anyone who is a fan of Guinness you might want to check out Milk Stout. I've only found it at one place, but its like a lightly coffee flavored Guinness. Very good stuff!
