Haven't read anything like that. He practiced Thur & Fri so he should be good to go unless something just happened.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Duce Staley (hamstring, knee) tweaked his hamstring during practice Friday, Nov. 5, and has been downgraded to questionable for Week 9. Staley, who was previously listed as probable due to a knee injury, is likely to be a game-time decision for Pittsburgh this weekend.

Hmm. Not sure. The official NFL injury report released this afternoon still has him as Probable. Guess I'll keep an eye on it.

Well, even if he doesn't play Verron Haynes might get a decent amount of work if Cowher chooses to use him. He could still use Bettis as his bruiser back while Haynes takes the normal carries.

Yea - that would be the most likely scenario. I'd still count on Staley to play; he's been through a lot of injures throughout his career and is one tough cat.

from espn.com

PITTSBURGH -- The Steelers running game, expected to be a major factor in Sunday's battle here with the Philadelphia Eagles, may have suffered a major blow on the eve of the intrastate showdown, as Pittsburgh unexpectedly downgraded starting tailback Duce Staley to "questionable" on the official league injury report.
