Lions WR Rogers Dislocates Finger
ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -- Detroit Lions receiver Charles Rogers, the second overall pick in the NFL draft, dislocated his left ring finger during practice Tuesday.
Rogers finished the morning practice after he was injured but did not participate in afternoon drills.
"I was just going up for a pass and it just happened," Rogers said. "I kind of jammed it. It's not an injury that's going to have me out a long time."
Coach Steve Mariucci said Rogers had an "open dislocation" that required a couple of stitches. He said Rogers would see a hand specialist Wednesday morning.
"If there's nothing broken, it may just be a matter of a couple of days," Mariucci said.
