I don't quite have the heart to cut Travis Henry

I know, I know, I have to admit that McGahee seems to be the better back, at least for what the Bills need. And I also know that the only way Henry will sniff the field is on breathers for McGahee or if Mc gets hurt. I told myself after this week if Henry only got a couple carries, I would dump him and pick up something else.

This all being said, I don't quite have the heart to put Travis on the ww. Or, maybe call it a gut feeling. Maybe I'd like to see how Willis' knee holds up for the remainder of the year. Or, it could be that I can't see dumping my 3rd round pick and stubbornness is setting in.

In any case, anyone else having difficulty dropping him or am I the only one? I think Travis got a bit of a raw deal when they drafted Mcgahee as he came off a monster year, but now the Bills look like geniuses.

I finally dropped him this week and picked up A-Train instead. Now I have someone to use as trade bait. Henry has no value. It was tough as he was my 2nd round pick but it was time to bite the bullet. It was made easier as I had handcuffed him with McGahee in the draft.........

Henry is worthless to anyone that does not own McGahee.... See if the McGahee owner will give you ANYTHING for him.... But, if he won't then kick Henry to the curb (just like the Bills are going to do in the offseason)...

It made me sick, but I had to drop Henry for E. Smith. I can't believe it came to that, but at least Smith plays. Wish I could say the same for Henry. I hope he lands on his feet somewhere next year because he is a pretty darn good back.

Here's another one some of us at the cafe called. I screamed in the spring that Henry would be an RBBC at best because you couldn't keep a healthy McGahee off the field. He's just too good. Now Henry's just a bum backup.

Unfortunately so, but I'm gonna keep him, cause I got room, and you just never know.

I blamed Buffalo's anemic offense for Henry's struggles earlier in the year, but I really don't know how to explain it now with McGahee performing. I tend to think its his bad ankle, but he played great on a broken leg before.

Honestly, I still stand by the fact that the McGahee factor was completely overblown in the preseason. McGahee had done nothing all year, it wasn't until Henry was injured that Willis saw action. Luckily for him, he took advantage of the opportunity and should be valuable the rest of the year.
