I need to trade this week to upgrade my damn D. I know he won't trade Balt, but who is the best D for playoffs and rest of schedule?
I have Barlow/Fitz/Gabriel who produced nicely this week that I can trade in a package deal if need be.
I've already been offered NE for Barlow straight up. But I want to make sure I'm getting the 2nd best if possible and is NE still good banged up? NE does play miami, NYJ, SF in playoffs. that's pretty sweet
Technically I have Ro. Williams in 1 of my flex spots, so I can only play 1 of the others out of Wheatley, Barlow, Fitz, etc.
so i can trade one RB if need be. who would you trade away out of barlow/wheatley?
The Steelers would be a nice grab, as would the Eagles IMO. Their remaining schedule is @DAL, WAS, @NYG, GB, @WAS, DAL, @STL, CIN. The only teams really worth worrying about there are the Rams and Packers (maybe). Philly should do pretty well against those guys.
qb's Brady, Garcia, Rattay
rb's- Priest, Dunn, R Johnson, TJ Ducket
wr's- Ward, Moulds, M Robinson, C Johnson
te's- Wiggins, B Williams
k Carney
Def Titans, SD
Guess who has the most favorable matchups the rest of the way? San Francisco. Too bad they won't be able to make anything out of it. It's also too bad that New England is banged up. They've got a nice schedule too. Cincinnati looks pretty decent. Buffalo has a really nice playoff schedule. If you're a lock for the playoffs, then I'd try to get Buffalo. If not, then I'd take a chance on Cincinnati.
ok... so out of NE, Pittsburg, Philly, Buff rank them! (i cant get cinci)
I'm not a playoff lock yet but with my team I find it hard not to win the rest of the way.
I'll prob. have to give up Barlow and/or Fitz for one of these.
playoffs are:
NE plays Miami, NYJ, SF
Buff plays Cin, SF, Pitt
Philly plays Dallas, STL, Cin
Pitts plays NYG, Balt, Buff
Even as a Pittsburgh fan I have a hard time recommending their Defense fantasy wise. How many sacks and interceptions can you rack up if they are only going to be on the field for 15 minutes/game?

ya i see your thinking, but look at this week. they dominated and the D got 4 sacks, 1 int... and got 13 pts in fantasy.
here is a breakdown currently of Fantasy Pts that I just looked in my league: standard yahoo settings except Blk Kick and Safeties are 5 pts.
Chi = 93 Tenn, Indi, Dal, Minn, Jax, Hou, Det. GB
Pit = 91 Cle, Cin, Wash, Jax, NYJ, NYG, Bal, Buf
Ari = 91 NYG, Car, NYJ, Det, SF, STL, Sea, TB
Sea = 89 STL, Mia, Buf, Dal, Min, NYJ, Ari, Atl
Det = 88 Jax, Min, Ind, Ari, GB, Minn, Chi, Ten
Atl = 86 TB, NYG, NO, TB, Oak, Car, NO, Sea
Phi = 82 Dal, Was, NYG, GB, Was, Dal, STL, Cin
NYG = 80 Ari, Atl, Phi, Was, Bal, Pitt, Cin, Dal
Was = 79 Cin, Phi, Pitt, NYG, Phi, SF, Dal, Min
NYJ = 77
NE = 74
SD = 70
Buff = 76
Who is available from your league's free agent/waiver pool? Giving up a back and a reciver for a Defense is too much IMO. I pick up a D each week off of waivers and play the matchups. Outside of the guy who has the Ravens, I've scored the second most defensive team points in our 12 team league.
