I'm looking to upgrade fragile fred and I can't decide who will be more productive for the rest of the season...who should I go after?

QB: B. Leftwich, D. Garrard, J. Harrington
RB: J. Lewis, F. Taylor, W. Mcgahee, A. Thomas
WR: H. Ward, C. Johnson, A. Boldin, J. Smith, A. Toomer, M. Muhammad, N. Burleson
TE: T. Gonzalez
K: D. Akers
DEF: Detroit

League plays 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 WR/RB, 1 K, 1 DEF

Alexander ... for yards and TDs.

LT2's value as a No. 1 has dipped slightly with his injury and the propensity for the Chargers to call Brees-to-Gates inside the 5-yard line.

I know...up until this point alexander's been better...but won't the improving san diego offense boost tomlinson's numbers???
with the way brees is performing and all the passing options he has now won't some room open up for LT2 to run in???
I would think now that other teams have to be more wary of the pass and tomlinson's not the only option anymore his production would go up....no?

Alexander in a no brainer. Alexaner is the best RB in the league and the only one who compares is Priest.

Alexander for all the reasons listed above -- PLUS LT2's bye is week 10. With Tomlinson, you're guaranteed at least one week with him out. Remember, too, that he's fighting a groin injury. They don't just go away and he's only a flare-up away from missing more time.

My vote goes for Alexander as well. But I wouldn't be surprised if LT goes out with a bang in the playoffs, especially if his groin heals a lot over the bye week.
