Yeah my money says Vermiel sits him a week. Wow this shoots up Larry Johnsons value unless Blaylock is back from injury then Blaylock should be the hot pick up

I wouldn't believe a word Vermeil says. This is classic Vermeil. By Friday he'll be talking up the possibility of amputating below the knee. On Sunday Priest will be miraculously cured and he'll start.

It's gonna really hurt me this week if Priest doesn't play but I'd much rather have him 100% come playoff time.

Holmes has strained ligaments in his right knee and might not be able to play Sunday at New Orleans. His injury was first said to be a bruised knee, but the team learned Monday that Holmes has a strained MCL.
