First, they take 6 extra seconds to snap the ball, then

THERE IS 8 SECONDS LEFT WHEN THE PLAY ENDS, MINNY HAS A TIMEOUT, AND IT TAKES UNTIL :02 IS LEFT TO CALL THE TIMEOUT? JESUS CHRIST.

If you watched closely a lineman was about to signall timeout with about 8 seconds or whatever left and was hesitant so like stopped in the middle of it.

I think there are about a half dozen topics about Tice is a moron or Minn's clock management sucks.

Oh and here's an epiphany, WHY DIDN'T YOU PLAY THE WHOLE *&^%ING HALF THE WAY YOU PLAYED THE LAST 3 MINUTES?

I thought I was watching the Ravens offense for the whole first half. I mean, maybe Tice got mixed up. Both teams are purple.

Why didn't Minny just let Indy score when they got into field goal range? The way I see it, with the way Indy's D has played this year, that was their best chance... Let Indy score with about 2 minutes on the clock, and then play for the tie, and hope to win the coin toss.... They had no business letting Indy burn off that clock...

I made my argument in another post...but I think that if they did call the timeout with 8 seconds left they could have at least made an attempt to throw in the endzone. If nothing there, chuck it in the stands and then kick the FG. Don't just give up and settle for it.

I still don't think you just let someone score. Edge made a mistake by running out of bounds. That gave Minnesota one play to have to stop him on 3rd down and they did not do it. That was what killed them. Manning's lefty pass to Edge for the first down. At that point the Colts were just going to run the clock out.

I can't believe Minnesota had to use 2 TO's in the first 4 minutes of the game.

Did you know?

The Jets hired an assistant coach to focus solely on clock management.

Also, according to TMQ, the Jets hire the refs during training camp to call penalties. Apparently they are one of the least penalized teams in the league...
