Am I the only one that thinks Monday night Football is desperate for attention when they have skits like Dilfer and Winstrom sacking each other at half time?

ABC is the most boneheaded company on tv right now. They wonder why they are losing ratings. Just look at the monday night intro, a bunch of ghetto kids beating their drumsticks on buckets dancing in the streets. Who the hell came up with that, no one wants to see it. Its like theyre trying to get artsy fartsy folks to watch cause thats the untapped demographic. Its a bunch of loser marketing grads running things over there and they always screw thigns up. HEY ASHTON KUTCHER IS POPULAR SO LETS RIP THAT OFF AND PUT IT ON DURING A FOOTBALL GAME. Lame.

Actually ABC has three of the top shows this season. And did you here the new TV contract to not have the Monday night game schedule of teams set all year.

The late Art Rooney Sr. was right 40 years ago when he said that the game of football will not be about football but instead of a game controlled by the TV networks. He was so right.

I disagree, it is more about gambling than anything.

Gambling doesnt control Football. The TV networks contracts do. Where do see contracts by the NFL that say anything about gambling other than it's illegal for the players and coaches to do it

TV contracts aren't because they just want something to fill time.
They are big money because people watch them.
So many people watch them because NFL is a huge gambling draw. Look at this site as an example.
