Will Edge get a rushing Td again?

Postby kevster1 » Mon Nov 08, 2004 11:10 pm

I can't believe E James can not get a rushing Td. The Colts are so enamored wiht their passing attack that Edge owners will be lucky to see one opportunity in the Red Zone. One Td in three weeks for a great Rb on a team that averages over 30 points a game is not cutting it. :~(

To play devil's advocate, and a guy that has Manning and Harrison....Edge has gotten over 20 carries tonight. They ran much more than was anticipated.

Now it's tied so you might get some more running. But the guy I am playing has Edge. So I am rooting against it! Sorry...but good luck.

True, and Edge has 15 points in my league with JUST rush/rec yards. Any week I can get that many points, no matter how I get them, I figure it's a good week.

If Minn doesn't score on this drive, we might see an Edge TD.

I wonder if that ever starts to bother Edge. I know he may pitch the whole team player BS if asked but I know I would start to get a little upset if I became the workhorse between the 20s and was not given the chance to get paydirt.

That's a real good point. I'd be even MORE miffed if I had bonuses riding on TD production.

HAH...lol cpep went down again. Ah crap saved by an offsides call.

Yeah, I would start getting upset if I were Edge. The Colts had 1st and goal twice and they go play action and throw it to the tight End. I thought it was typical that when you ride a player all the way down the field you at least give him two shots inside the five yard line! I know he had a great night yard wise but it is tough when you are going up against some one who scores 7 touchdowns when they typically score 3-4. Thanks Antonio Gates and Jake Delhomme!!! :~(

A Conspiracy Theory: Edge is a FA @ the end of the year, as is Marvin. Both are getting less love in the offense this year. Conincidence? Just Peyton spreading the ball around? Some might argue it is intentional. Why allow these two FAs put up big numbers to drive up their market value?? Even on MNF last night, Michelle Tafoya reported that Marvin told her that "someone" was making sure he wasn't getting th eball as much as in the past. He wouldn't elaborate who "someone" was.........

so who do you think that someone is fever? I find it hard to believe it would be Peyton. But is that what you are thinking?
