The real deal in Tampa

Postby tmandpimp » Tue Nov 09, 2004 10:48 am

i just wanted to thank all of you for all of your support....NOT!!!! none of you believed me when i said that tampa would shut priest down because they always do to the #1 guy....none of you believe that tampa is anywhere close to a playoff team when we scored 34 points on OFFENSE (and i dont give a crap what defense it is. if you ever watch tampa then you know that 34 pts is alot)

thanks for the lack of support. it made sunday even better.

p.s. TAMPAS D WAS AMAZING NO MATTER WHAT THE SCORE

useless post.

By the way... the "real deal" in Tampa is Brian Griese, not their lackluster, aging, beat defense.

The only "real deal" in Tampa Bay is Michael Clayton. Everybody else is average at best, he's their budding superstar.

Tampa Bay may stand an outside chance of making the playoffs. However, their defense no where near where it has been during the past 4 seasons. And their offense will only be slightly above average once Alstott and Galloway are back playing full swing. Just don't get yourself to excited. Gruden is not the coach you think he is. The only reason Gruden won a SB with Tampa is because Tony Dungy build the team. Gruden's success in Oakland was short lived and only looked as good as it did thanks to the large number of seasoned veteran he had playing for them which could have been coached from his office.

priest would have had 2 probably 3 TD's in that game if he didnt get hurt. him getting hurt isnt shutting him down.

TB should have gone with Pittman and Griese to start the year. Johnson and Gardner are old pieces of dog crap.
I have Clayton on my squad and have been enjoying his success. Last week I also traded for Griese (for a almost useless W.Green). I figured I'd better get him soon before his former owner woke up and realizes he's a pretty good start in our 2QB league. Take into account that TB has an easy schedule to close the year: @Atl, SF, @Car, Atl, @SD (alright seems like atough game here), NO, Car, and @Arz (season ends week 16 in my league). I see some fantasy success and even an outside shot at a playoff spot. ;-D

forgot about Clayton. But I think Griese is better than average... or at least has a lot more potential to be.
