Watching for a Baltimore Bull Rush

Postby mtlenway » Tue Nov 09, 2004 2:18 pm

After watch the Baltimore Defense over the past three weeks it is clear their Defense is the best in the NFL and will soon improve with the return of Boulware. Does anyone else have the feeling that Baltimore, even with its single geared offense, will be the making a strong run for the Superbowl and can over take the Steelers solely with their defensive dominance?

cant see that happening. steelers have too good of a all around team. theyve been playing great D and the running game hasnt failed them yet. and they still have the best threesome of recievers in the game right now.
QB Carson Palmer*, Jake Plummer
RB Deuce McAllister*, Corey Dillion*, Warrick Dunn, Willie Parker*, Michael Bennett
WR Torry Holt*, Michael Clayton*, Chris Chambers, Eddie Kennison, Charles Rogers*,
TE Tony Gonzalez*
K Ryan Longwell*

though i would like to see that happening, its a stretch. assuming they get heap and ogden back soon, they do have a shot at making the playoffs. i agree that their defense dominates everyone, but their offense is HORRIBLE. right now, jamal is all that they have and every team knows that, so they stack the box against him. the steelers are a tough team, good on both sides of the ball...i dont see baltimore taking them

They should have lost to Cleveland last weekend alone... That WAS a pass interference penalty , but because its Ray Lewis and they were in Baltimore the flag is not thrown. If you dont want to call it PI then it definately has to be illegal contact. Lewis drug him down while the ball was in the air and had a huge handfull of jersey. (by definition that is PI)

Their Offense is so bad they have no chance. Dilfer is ten times better then Boller. They would have a better start with Kordell at the healm....
