Got any musicians here?

Postby LT Blue Colt » Thu Nov 11, 2004 2:03 pm

Curious to see if anybody plays and what? I like playing the guitar, bass, acoustic, electic. They're all fun to me. If anyone cares I got an 84' Gibson SG Deluxe which I fixed up with a 57' hummbucker at the neck and an Angus Young Signature hummbucker by the bridge. It's my baby!

I try to play instruments all the time, but I'm not any good! :-B I mainly just sing in the lab at work.

I should try to learn how to play that little irish flute that someone got me in Ireland...

I know there are a few guys here that play (most notably DUKE).

The 'Cuna knows how to play some instruments... piano, alto saxophone, guitar, and drums.

I was subjected to ten years of classical piano training in my younger years, which I hated the entire time. I bought a cheap little keyboard and have done some cool things with it, though - I'd really like to get a more expensive one. I also took a couple years in middle school in a free program some of the local middle schools around here do and learned the alto-saxophone - second chair, y0. I've been kind of teaching myself the guitar and drums over the last couple years. I'm not bad, but I have no lead guitar or huge drum solo aspirations.

I play guitar. I filled in for the guitar player in my friends band when they played the Segue. I thought I did pretty well.

Same here. I hate classical piano :-P

Though I have taken piano for a long time and have grown pretty good, though I must say, it is probably just a waste of time

It sure seemed like a waste of time while I was taking it. Looking back, I would have put a lot more effort into it - with the classical training, you can really do some cool things when you expand into other genres. ...or that I had told my parents to spend their money on guitar lessons instead. :-?

Never fear, The 'Cuna is just reverting into a normal human being... albeit slowly.
