Ditto on the 50-70 day time frame.

The sprain was described as "severe" which would lead me to believe he was awfully close to tearing a ligament or achillies.

well, this news clinches it. i've had him riding my bench all year (luckily i was able to snag gates off WW) and i was hoping to trade him whenever he got healthy and had a good week. but i might just drop him the next time i need the roster space
It doesn't need to be in good taste, so long as it tastes good

I've heard reports that he will be good and ready for their week 16 match up and for the remainder of the season thereafter.

Eric Johnson? he is still available in your league? 8-o I would have dropped Heap eons ago for EJ.

Yeah, jesus - are you the only one in your league? How is EJ there?

Agreed. Wrap it and play for gods sake, Baltimore needs him if they wanna get into the playoffs.

Well, atleast next year, you can hope to get Heap relatively cheap...probably behind Gonzo, Gates, Shockey, McMike, EJ, and maybe Crumpler.

No way. Heap will still be one of three in the top tier next year. He's their entire passing game. Hopefully he'll take that overrated piece of donkey poo Shockey's place at #3 with Gates at #2 (or maybe even #1).
I am Sancho.
