Benching Culpepper

Controversial I know but bottom line is that Mike Tice will find a way to not keep him involved.

Without Moss, Culpepper is just an average QB. Look at the stats;

yds td int
10/24 TEN 24-30 183 1 0
10/31 NYG 24-41 231 1 2
11/08 IND 16-19 169 1 0

He went for 169 yds versus indy?????

I am going to play Griese this week. Look at his last three games;

10/18 STL 27-40 286 2 1
10/24 CHI 15-23 163 1 0
11/07 KC 22-34 296 2 0

The one poor game was versus Chi-town and there pass d is pretty good. He plays atlanta whose pass defenese is bad.

What really hurts is that Moss is my main wr. Double whammy. All you c-pepp owners are you with me.

Then I play him next week. I am 6-3 and will have moss for the home stretch. That should get me into playoffs no probably. I have a two game lead in the division so I am in good. Shape. What if C-pepp has an average game and I lose by 4 pts.

To me three games is a strong trend. Specially when it revolves around a coaching decision or losing a player. IF I knew tice would throw the rock fine, but culpepper tossed two passes in the first quarter versus Indy.

I'm benching C-pep for Griese. I don't think C-pep is worth starting on sunday, and he has a tough matchup compared to greise. :-t

Finally, someone who agrees with me.

Without Moss, Culpepper isn't a stud. He has been averaging about 13 pts a game without moss. Griese has been better than that. I have not given up on C-pepp, but something tells me Griese.

Say it aint so Huge. Did I miss the press release that said Cpepp was hit by a train? Did Green Bay grow mighty big defensive cahones this week? Is there a crazy flu going around that hasn't reached Ohio yet? Help me out here somebody....

I don't know about Q. Carter, that seems like a very stupid play. I am not completely down on c-pepp, it's just that if you put two and two together it equals C-pepp a bad play, griese a good one.
