Marshall carted off field with sprained knee

Postby proKrastinate » Sun Nov 14, 2004 3:51 pm

and you are thinking EXACTLY what I was thinking when I saw the topic on yahoo, but then I read this.

Yahoo wrote: NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Chicago cornerback Alphonso Marshall sprained a knee in the third quarter against the Tennessee Titans, and he had to be carted off the field.

Marshall was hurt covering a kickoff early in the third quarter when he was sent flying to the ground. He called for help, and he didn't put any pressure on his left leg as he was helped onto the back of the cart.

Team officials said he would not return.

looks just like when some of the 'characters' post similar topics here at the cafe. those yahoo bastages. can't get stat tracker working and then they toy with my mind.

I got 'warned' for the misleading topic "Vikings' Smith out 2 games" via Sportsline.

It was TRUE, as Randal Smith (LB for the Vikings) is out 2 games.

So, blow me Web Hampster ;-D
