worst defense in the league and gibbs has given him only 11 carries...i still dont think gibbs has figured out when portis gets 100 yards they win ( their 3 wins he got 100+ yards) i think if portis got the ball every offensive down except for 4th the redskins would do better than they have been doing

considering that it's 10 minutes left in the 4th and Clinton has 79 yards+8 recieving, i don't think you have to worry. He's seen more carries with Ramsey in.

Once the Skin's passing game stops resembling a 6th grade football team's, the field will open up some more for Portis. :-t
"Sometime during the Pats game last week, I decided that Tomlinson was the best overall running back of my lifetime. There's nothing he can't do: deadly receiver, tough inside runner, explosive to the outside, you name it." - ESPN's Bill Simmons

there is always next year when they take a qb and eat brunell's contract(what a stupid move and i love gibbs) and pile on the offensive line in the draft. they should at least have the record for a high pick if they don't spoil it being sneaky with their IR claims (big fines are coming)

Portis is a product of the DEN offensive system. he wanted to test the waters and found out that he was not the reason why DEN was winning all those games....it was Shannahan's offense! Now he has proved to every one that he is just another good running back. He is not even on the smae level on Priest or LT, like he thought he was. Maybe if he leaves WAS, he could get some of his lusted back...but, we may never know?

I think calling him a bust is a little harsh. Portis is still on pace for 1500-1600 yards with a retard for a QB and a patchwork line. What is your standard for a successful RB, 2000 yards?
Vengeance is mine.
