Facing Manning killed my team...

Postby bryan1327 » Sun Nov 14, 2004 10:27 pm

Did any one actually win going against him today...The guy I played had Manning and Clark..And I was thinking...Clark, with all the other options..Clark will do nothing...maybe 5-10 points...Damn...just killed me!!

How did any one else do against him?..

I won against him today. Thanks to Bulger and Det D, who were my big scorers today.

I had a great score for our league, 140, and Manning hung me out to dry. I can't wait to have Tomlinson/Gates/Moss back. The league is going to pay...

I played against a guy who had Manning and Vinateri those two guys outscored my team:

Griese
Horn
Clayton
Mason
Barber
Portis (should of started D. Davis)
Vanderjact (Does Indy ever kick FG)
Gates (on a bye but didn't want to drop anybody)
Jets

I'm down by 7 and he still has Owens tonight

I faced a team that had Manning, Dallas Clark and Vinetari and won with Owens and Akers still to go tonight. Culpeeper actually outscored manning in our league (1 pt for 25 pa yds. 6 for Td's and -2 for ints.)

10 team Head-to-head (9-1)

QB-Culpepper, T. Rattay
RB-Holmes, T.Barber, B.Westbrook, S.Davis, D.Blaylock
WR-T.Owens,J.Walker, A.Johnson, A.Boldin
TE-A. Crumpler, D.Graham
K-D.Akers

I have Manning on my team and am currently winning 132-42. Yes that's a difference of 90 points. It could've been 100 points, but I didn't start Wilkins at kicker. Manning scored 44 points for me this week. He has been tearing it up this season. I had him last year too and he did not perform at this level. I guess he wants to prove that all that money IND gave him in the off-season was money well spent. I seem to think so ;-D.

I was feeling ok about facing Manning this week since I have Harrison and Wayne to offset his points. Well that didnt really work out that well for me. Of course 5 td's and my combo only got 1 of them and 50 or so yards. Oh well...

If it makes you feel any better he scored 108 on me 2 weeks ago. Even T. Greens big day couldnt keep me in the game. Oh the average score for a qb in this league is about 40-50 pts.
