Jay Glazer, of Fox Sports, reports on FoxSports.com that Chicago Bears LB Brian Urlacher (leg) suffered a lower leg injury during Week 10 and will be out of action for approximately the next month. He had a procedure done Monday, Nov. 15, at Northwestern Hospital to have pressure released from an injured area of his leg. Urlacher said he was kicked in the calf and it swelled up like a grapefruit overnight, which is why he needed to go to the hospital to have it drained.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- Chicago Bears Pro Bowl linebacker Brian Urlacher will miss four to six weeks with a lower left leg injury sustained in Sunday's 19-17 win over the Tennessee Titans.
Urlacher, who missed all of the preseason and two regular-season games with a hamstring problem, had a surgical procedure done early Monday morning on his leg, coach Lovie Smith said.
There was some internal bleeding in the area of the injury, Smith said. He said Urlacher would not be put on injured reserve.
The Bears (4-5) have a three-game winning streak, based on the stellar play of their defense, heading into Sunday's game against the Colts.
