See how he does with Ramsey as their full time starter first before dropping him. Unless of course you get a sweet trade offer...

I have Portis as my #2 back behind Tiki and im satisfied. I cant understand why people consider him a bust unless they are in TD heavy leagues....Its far from him fault...Its his crappy offense.Ive watched him play the last 2 week and he has looked very solid. Also in my league he is ranked 8th out of RBS...how is that a bust???? 15.7; 21.55; 15.3 in the past 3 weeks...If thats a bust than im quite happy...I get 1 pt per reception, 1pt per 10 yards/rush or rec....6pts a TD and 4 for a passing TD(which he threw to Coles).
My team will not be stopped..Just made it to first place after tonights game

I love CP's moves, his speed, his second gear once he clears the line, his pass catching ability in the flat- I hate the 'Skins offensive schemes, I can't stand their flat O line; their QB play leaves me in tears. Football is a team sport and in some instances it affects Fantasy Football performance. In this case, the team's performance affects Portis overall FF production.
Having said that, I traded Portis for the best value I could for him two weeks ago- David Carr and Andre Johnson.
12 Team Keeper League- 3 Players
QB- Brees, Delhomme, Griese
RB- Portis, Martin, C Brown, O Smith, S Jackson, Duckett
WR- TO, McCariens, Bruce
D- Ravens,
TE- Witten

yep
Can't say I understand how James Thrash's illegal procedure for moving about 1 inch forward on the other side of the field had any affect on Portis' 40yd TD that got called back.
I think Portis will do a bit better with Ramsey in at QB, someone that actually throw an accurate deep ball and maybe keep the other team honest once in a while. Will his numbers improve to that of a top 5 pick where he was drafted? Nah. But at this point I'll take what I can get.

I think the crappy QB play hurts Portis even more than just cheating safeties. It also hurts him because the Skins offense can't stay on the field because they can't convert even short third downs. In my experience, RBs excel when the offense sustains drives and wears down the defense. With the Skins, it is one or two carries for Portis, an incomplete pass, then punt. The other D rests up, and comes on the field again and the same thing happens. No sustained drives, no wearing down of the other defense.
