westbrook/levens splitting time?

Postby crimsonrebel » Tue Nov 16, 2004 3:20 pm

I didn't get to watch MNF, but I noticed westbrook and levens split carries 15/12. Was this through the whole game, or just after the victory was apparent? Are there plans for them to continue to split carries?

they used them both from what I remember, not jsut to kill off the clock.

I would imagine dorsey will get carries for the next block of games, no need to risk westbrook down the stretcha given that the skins, giants, green bay, cowboys, st. louis and cincy are remaining. the eagles may not need to pull out all the run game tricks to win most of those games.

I have not read anything about future plans but Levens was getting carries early and often. He actually performed well :-o

It has become apparent westy is not a feature back. Given Reid's penchant for RBBC I would expect this trend to continue.

Keep in mind Westbrook is still recovering from a cracked rib.
