QB/RB same team strategy

Postby BigMusky » Tue Nov 16, 2004 5:13 pm

Right now I have T. Green/Holmes as my QB/#1Rb combo. There is another team in my league with Favre/A. Green.

What are your guys opinions on having the two highest point producing positions on the same NFL team? The way I see it is you will rarely have those huge weeks, you almost never get those complete dud weeks. The chiefs are going to always get 2TD's every week no matter what is going on, so I will always get at least that and yards out of those positions.

Should I look to trade Green for Favre and split up my roster, or just does it really matter? I am 4th in points and in 4th place right now, so I might need that extra push in the playoffs. Thoughts please.

I would stick with the combo, as those 2 alone have the ability to win a week for you if they blow up, and the KC offence does not have bi goff weeks. i ouwld look at the playoff scedu;e to see if that trade is good, but remeber that Trent green always starts slow and then kills it at the end

I have a way bigger thing I have 4 thats right cuatro players that I most likely should start on the same team.

Brees ( should blow up again agaisnt oak)
McCardell
Tomlinson
Kaeding

I cant bench LT or Tomlinson my best option for McCardell is Marcus Robinson or Koren Robinson who will most likely be suspended

So yeah im screwed

I have Manning and James in my 12 person league and it's working out well.
