Charles Rogers?

What's his status, is he running at all or anything. When will he be back to full strength? I've heard nothing since he got injured and I am interested to know how he is doing.

Last I heard, he was scheduled to begin lifting weights around this time. There probably won't be any news til at least December, but I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't hear anything until around February/March about the state of his rehab.

If last time is any indication, he's a slow healer.

They're probably reevaluating his recovery....based upon how well the last one worked.....can someone actually get a biologically strengthened collarbone...? ;-)

Man if they can do it this guy needs it. He has unbelievable talent, but just very fragile.

I have him stashed away in a dynasty, he seems incredibly fragile but with his immense talent it is impossible to completely ignore him.

I don't see why they coudn't leave a plate in there. Heck maybe that is what they'll do. The thing is, how many more chaces does he get? One more?

Oh: check this out, it is a plate and it extends over the old break as well:

Still playing with something like this would be tough:

When I saw the xray of a similar surgery (I believe Mookie posted it a while back), I admit I pretty much lost most of my hope Rogers will get back to being as talented as he was preinjury.

Seriously - a big, thick, plate with 8 screws holding your collarbone to your shoulder - take a wild stab at how that might affect a WR.

Its a damn shame.

ps - nice pics Geo - thanks for the link.

I had absolutely sky-high hopes for Rogers as one of my dynasty keepers, here's hoping that he plays like he can next year.

Hope.

That's all I can say. And that's what every Lions fan can completely understand.
