ESPN is reporting (on TV) that Holtz will step down. I think it's all but a done deal.

I thought spurrier was holding out for another NFL gig and thts why he didnt take the florida job.

no he wanted a college job and he wanted to go south, he just didnt want to "go back to somewhere where he had already done his job" or something like that.
