How much Money is a MONEY League anyway?

A lot of owners in the forum talk about their participation in a Money league. It is likely that this term means many different things to many different people.

In order to get a pulse within the forum, I'm posting an anonymous poll and asking forum members to answer the poll based upon the following question:

How much prize money is availalbe in your ENTIRE PRIZE pool at the end of the year to be distributed to all winners? This is prize money that is distributed out to ALL winners, not just the winner of the championship. Since some leagues pay out only to the Champion, and others pay out to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc, wording the question this way should standardize the answers somewhat.

We pay like $20 or something like that up front. Then $1 per transaction. All $ goes toward the draft and SB parties, plus the nameplate on the trophy.

So while it's a money league, we aren't exactly playing for $

I have never played in a league where I have paid more than $20.

16 team league with 2 divisions. $30 each towards winnings. The 2 Divsion winners, and playoff winner and runner up get the winnings, with most going to the playoff winner.

I'm in a 12 team keeper league. The entry is 130.00. Some of that goes to cbs sportsline. Waiver Add's are $3 and trades are $5.

First place usually gets between $900-$1000

You get $20 for scoring the most points each week.

3 division winners and 1 wild card make the playoffs.

You have to make the playoffs to get any prize money other than the weekly high score.

I am in a heated battle for my division.

1st place guy is 7-3 and the other 3 teams including me are 6-4.

I need a win this week because the last 3 weeks are division games.

Luckily I was able to get Blaylock because Barlow as my #2 RB was scaring me.

I'm in two leagues, each $50/team, 10 team leagues. Team with best regular season record gets their $50 back, team finishing in first place gets $300, second gets $150.

Also, a friend is in a league with $30 entry, 12 teams, $1 transactions, and $10/wk for highest scoring team each week. Whatever's left after that's all paid out goes to the top team.

SB winner = $400
loser = $100

Reguler season 1st = $150, 2nd = $100, 3rd = $50
