Broken Hearst, Chance for Rhodes

I don't think Hearst will make it this year, with Barlow coming up behind him this preseason..I had him leftover from a keeper league last year and I'm thinking of trading him. Will this be worth my trouble?

Also, I have the chance to pick up Dominic Rhodes...I heard Edge is coming back, but there is a chance he may not perform until October/November...Is D.R. a good move?

Garrison Hearst is the man in SF until another back proves otherwise. Personally, I don't see him losing his starting job this season, barring injury. He is also a great receiving back, a rare combination, and in San Fran's offense he will get plenty of outlet passes.
As far as Rhodes goes - don't believe the hype... Edgerrin is too good a back to lose carries to Rhodes.
