Do you do anything for home field advantage in H2H?

I was wondering if anyone in any league ever made anything special for the fantasy team who plays home. i've heard of giving the tiebreaker for the home team, but i was wondering of anything else?

I've seen/heard of leagues where the team that has the better record getting spotted a few points (5 or so) -- that does seem like a reasonable way of doing it, but I can't really think of another way.

Another possibility is, and this is kind of out there, is to allow the winning team to chooise an additional "FLEX" spot for the game that both players can have. so he can add a K/DEF flex, or a QB/RB. QB/WR flex (or whatever) that suits his bench better than the bench of his opponent. or can choose not to add such a flex. make sense?

There is a new thing on CBS this year, a schedule grid. I really can't understand it. Anyways, "home field" has been on CBS since I remember. But I haven't seen it and wouldn't understand how it could play into factoring in playoff seeds or breaking ties. Haven't seen/heard of what matmat is talking about but I do understand the concept.

I really don't know, just thought I would chime in. :-B
