Although "doubtful" technically means he has a 50/50 chance of playing, being downgraded to doubtful sounds like even less of a chance he will play. I think the way it was put by Holmgren is he would have to show significant improvement before he would start this week. IE: Don't bet on it.

Seattle plays the late Sunday game (4:15 EST) and currently there is no information on who will start at quarterback for the Seahawks. Trent Dilfer is Hasselbeck’s backup and would start if Matt can‘t go. If you start Hasselbeck you risk a score of zero at quarterback. If you must set your lineup before 1:00 PM EST on Sunday you will want to find an alternative for Hasselbeck
