Lineup help plz...all opinions welcome

Postby Homefront Security » Thu Sep 19, 2002 7:36 pm

I have alot of questions regarding my lineup, especially with the way that the sure-thing players on my team have performed this year.

Fiedler vs NYJ or Bledsoe vs DEN
Staley vs DAL or the A-Train vs NO
Driver vs DET or Gardner vs SF
R.Peete vs MIN or Warner vs TB
-I'd normally take any QB vs MIN, and Warner is dissapointing me

A.Brooks vs CHI or Vick vs CIN
Booker vs NO or Keyshawn vs STL or W.Walls vs MIN

I know this is alot of help I need...I have 4 teams in 4 different Leagues to look after. With some lower profile players having favorable matchups this week - and higher profile players with not-so-favorable matchups - I decided to gather more opinions hoping to come away this week with a win (finally). Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I like Bledsoe at Denver because he's done well this year and this week he's going to have to pass the ball a lot due to Denver's strong run defense. I like A-Train over Staley because he's a solid performer who's building up steam. The Driver/Gardner question is a toss-up as far as I'm concerned, but I'd probably go with Driver since he's playing a terrible team and is likely to score. Peete or Warner? I'd go with Peete. He's sure to do a lot of passing against Minnesota's surprisingly strong run D. Warner is going up against TB and has not performed thus far.

You HAVE to go with Vick against Cincinatti! That's like a given! And Booker's been rockin'. I'd stick with him.

Good Luck! ;-D

a-train, you know he will score
booker back on home field against a second string corner
vick against cicny and he needs to bounce back after his beating last week
gardner b/c tat game will be a shoot out and if it is not close like monday night washington will be forced to throw
never thought i'd say this, but peete over warner against that minnesota secondary

LOL! I know...Rodney Peete starting over Kurt Warner in ANY week...but then again the Vikings secondary is the sorriest bunch in the history of the NFL. Tampa Bay is coming off of the huge game they played defensively against Baltimore. Now that I think about it, I guess Peete makes a better fantasy play.
