25 plays for R.Moss...

Postby RubeRiot » Mon Nov 22, 2004 7:45 pm

If this story stays true, and Moss is able to play and is in there for around 25 plays...what kind of production can we expect from him at home on the turf vs. JAC?

Randy Moss should be back Sunday

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) _ Randy Moss is expected back on the field this week for the Minnesota Vikings, provided his strained right hamstring doesn't swell.

Coach Mike Tice said Monday a reasonable plan for Moss in Sunday's game against Jacksonville is 25 plays, mostly in three-receiver formations.

Since sustaining the injury Oct. 17 at New Orleans, Moss twice made token appearances without catching a pass and did not dress for the last three games.

He's still tied for third in the NFC with eight touchdown receptions for the Vikings (6-4), who stopped a three-game losing streak by beating Detroit 22-19 on Sunday.

Moss, who has been running routes on the side for the past week, looked good in an intense workout Monday morning to test his strength and endurance. Tice and team trainers want to make sure the leg doesn't swell on Tuesday before allowing him to practice. He'll be listed as doubtful, for now.

``Hopefully as the week progresses we'll be able to fix that and turn it into questionable, probable,'' Tice said. ``We'll see.''

Im personally expecting him not to play and if he does maybe as a decoy I wouldnt expect anything fantasy wise out of him untill next week.

Yeah I'm most likely not starting him. We all know how that went when Tice said he would be used on red zone plays.

I can't lie...I'm thinking of starting him.
With Moss back, I think Burlesson will lose a lot of his value, so I'm almost forced to start moss.

I think Burelsons value, will definitely NOT be affected this week. Im very happy to be a Burelson owner and no matter what Im starting Burelson over Moss this week.

They should just keep him out until he's ready to go for a full game. Tice is a joke, can they just call up Dennis Green and beg him to take the job back? Maybe Jerry Burns is available.
