MOST IMPORTANT THREAD IF YOU ARE IN A KEEPER LEAGUE

If you are in a keeper league and allow players to be held at the same draft position as this year for next year who do you think will be a great keeper assuming they were dropped this year or drafted as a backup.
What players do you think will have a good value next year.

A perfect example is Thomas Jones who was drafted last year in the 10th round last year and was free agent at the end of the season. i picked him up assuming he would be traded so I kept him as my 10th round keeper for this year.

So what players were drafted this year but probably dropped throughout the season and may carry value next year if traded or promoted into the starting role.

i'd say mcgahee, both jones rokies, roy williams, big ben, lefty, droughns, clayton, maybe gates. i'm sure there are more, but thats just off the top of my head.

Number one option in my mind right now. THenry. Shouldn't be worth anything in most leagues.

K Jones is going to be on a lineup somewhere. Any current starting running back should not be on Free agency

it doesn't matter if they are fa's. just where they were drafted. i am guessing these guys all went well later this year than they will next. so if you drafted mcgahee in the 6th this year he would certainly be worth keeping as your 6th rounder next year.

Henry should do well next year depending on which team he is on but he was most likely drafted pretty high and therefore would not be of a huge value. McGahee is the guy. Mid rounds and a star. I still am angry that his 50+ yard td run got called back on Sunday. Droughns is a gamble, a big gamble. Who knows what his status will be come September 05. Roy is another great choice. Probably drafted 6th to 9th round (or later) this year and a legit star.

That 50 yard run was dirty. That sideways hop was the nicest play I have seen any RB make this year.
