Yeah, you gotta love this guy. I dealt alot early to get him this year because I was convinced he would replace Henry. I like Henry for the horse that he is but McGahee is a star. And yeah, brilliant run. Speed, moves, strength and mean= awesome.
My interpretation is that you are looking for potential keepers that are likely FAs right now. That clearly excludes guys like Foster, McGahee, Blaylock and such.
My list:
Shipp - possibly could come back to start but I bet they nab an RB in the draft.
A.Thomas - could land a starting job somewhere as he's a free agent (similar to Thomas Jones).
Mewelde Moore - I expect a house cleaning of sorts. I'll be Bennett is gone and who knows when O.Smith's next suspension will hit.
Dominic Rhodes - If Edge moves on he's in a great spot.
Mo Morris - Again, if Alexander moves on he's in a great spot.

I was happy when I was offered McGahee and a 3rd round pick for my 5th round and Julius Jones. McGahee is the real deal, and should be even better next year. He is on my keeper list as of right now.
I like wizbangs point about Rhodes. If Edge isn't in Indy next year, Rhodes will be a nice addition to any Roster.
I also like Tatum Bell. If Denver decides to let Droughns go, Bell will be a solid pick-up in most leagues. I can't remember exactly where he went in my league, but I know it was late.
A real long shot sleeper might also be Chris Perry in Cincinnati. I haven't heard anything recently about R.Johnsons contract, but at the begining of the season I believe he had only signed through this year. If they decide to let Rudi go, Perry would be the starter. He will be one to watch and see if they put him in this season to try him out.
The toughest part for me, is that my league only allows up to four keepers. Currently I have at least 6 potential keepers sitting on my bench. (LT2, D.McCallister, McGahee, S.Jackson, T.Bell, and Andre Johnson.) Looks like I might be trying to move a couple in the offseason to get a 2nd stud WR.
Larry Johnson is potentially a sleeper. Blaylock won't be the heir-apparent and there is always the slight chance that The Reverend will call it a career.

I am in the same boat - my league keeps 3 but the winner gets a 4th. I am currently holding Portis, Deuce McA, Priest, Moss - HOW IN THE H&LL AM I 5-6?!?!?!?! That's for another discussion...
