this is a bit off topic ,but i had the same kind of luck myself, but in baseball.

this is for baseball fans only...

-i had cintron, who just sucked and didnt live up to expectations, and at no time in the year got remotely hot
-k. escobar got 0 run support
-armas, after coming back, got hurt again and again and again, and when he did even pitch, he was horrible
-pettitte, who made like 2 starts the whole year
-teixeira, who i literally traded the weekbefore he started to go NUTS
-vidro, who only played 2/3 of the year
-e. martinez who got his job taken by a rook
-t. ohka, who was pitching pretty well, then got hurt for the year
-and last but not least j. mauer, who was banged up, sucking, everything possible

that my friends, is the worst luck anyone can have... and that was my first fantasy baseball league.

No I understand how Branch wasn't your 5th overall pick. But you took him ahead of Koren Robinson so obviously there were still some better receivers remaining at the time. Forget it.

I feel your pain, Check out my division.

W-L Points For / Points Against
Team in 1st (6-5) - 1000 / 1027
Team in 2nd (5-6) - 920 / 977
Team in 3rd (4-7) - 860 / 1028
Team in 4th (3-7-1) - 899 / 968
Team in 5th (2-9) - 956 / 1120

I had the misfortune of playing the #1 team from the other division twice. The first time I had the 3rd highest points total for the week, he had the highest. The second time I had the 2nd highest, and again he had the highest. I had two weeks that I didn't score well because of bye weeks/injuries, but every other week so far I have had one of the top 5 scores in the league. I was just playing the wrong team on the wrong week.

Funny thing is, with 3 weeks left, I'm still in the playoff picture. The top 3 teams from each division go the the playoffs, and I have a slightly easier schedule. Also I play the team in 3rd on the final week of the regular season. For me it could all come down to week 15.

I was incredibly lucky/dumb to take Holmes first, and then S Smith as my second receiver after Ward, and then picked up Lewis for Westbrook along the way... and then... the only things saving me was picking up Brees on the FA pool before he got good.... and before my draft choice Carr, got bad.

Still, I have no real stud RB or WR and no TE at all and I intend to hang in there.....
