1. Most draft sheets had McNair in the top 6 in QBs. I said that last year was an aberration and he was overrated.
2. I said Chris Brown and T. Jones were sleeper runningbacks you should draft instead of the entire lot of "2nd round" runningbacks (Taylor, Henry, D. Davis, Barlow, Faulk, Dillon, S. Davis). Instead of these 2nd round RBs, I was advising taking a top WR or QB.
3. McGahee was too good to keep off the field for very long.
4. My "everyone should have seen this coming"...S. Davis being a complete waste. They beat him to death last year, at the very best you were going to end up with a 50/50 split with Foster.
5. I definitely need to add that I said Javon Walker would blow up.

Well, I'll give the call to someone that picked Julius Jones in the THIRD ROUND of my keeper league this year and stuck with him all the way.
How is that a good call??? I'm really confused. He has played 1 good game in 11 weeks. If you ask me that was a stupid pick for the 3rd round. He could have had several players that could have played all year. I guess the only arguement will be if he turns out to be a stud for next year, then OK, but it's a little early for that.

i might not have posted it here, but i knew (partly from having him last year) that stephen davis would be a bust. not only was he hurt alot last year, but he's getting old, a bad combo. i also made sure to target javon walker and grabbed him in the mid rounds as my 3rd wr.

Not really a good call, my point was kind of that he was ballsy and knew he was good b/c he's a ND fan. I guess we'll see if it pays off for the rest of this year and next...
The 'Cuna actually made some correct calls over the off-season...
1. Kevan Barlow wouldn't produce.
2. Antonio Gates was awesome.
3. Brandon Lloyd as a nice sleeper WR.
4. Donald Driver as another nice sleeper WR.
5. Warrick Dunn > T.J. Duckett.
6. Marc Bulger = Good starting fantasy QB and GREAT value.
7. David Givens r0x0rz s0x0rz.
8. Santana Moss not r0x0ring s0x0rz.
...there might be some more, but The 'Cuna doesn't like thinking back to all of those horrible predictions gone awry, such as...
1. Marshall Faulk would be a top ten RB if healthy.
2. Tiki Barber is worthless.
3. Thomas Jones has always sucked before, why would he suddenly be good?
4. Chris Brown wasn't the answer in Tennessee.
5. Javon Walker was overrated.
6. Michael Bennett would make a nice #2 RB if healthy.
7. Laveranues Coles as a top ten WR.
...those mis-steps definitely hurt, as I had shots at drafting all of 'em and instead opted for worse players (sans Marshall and Bennett, who I did draft).
'CUNA-MANIA IS RUNNING WILD! "You will be a king here, instead of a peasant at the Cafe."
-mcgahee starting over henry(nothing big there though)
-i said to my friend before the season started "you know, i just have this feeling that chad johnson isn't going to do that well. not an outright bust, but not very good at all." dead on
-i was dead wrong on droughns this year..egg meet my face
-at our draft there was some controversy about curtis martin
being drafted twice, and i told the guy that didn't get him "dude, it's just curtis martin. it's not like he'll do anything this year." yeah, missed on that one
i guess all in all, more misses than hits this year. just a screwy year i suppose.
