Moss not limited.

Postby Guttpuppy » Fri Nov 26, 2004 7:37 pm

Associated Press, ESPN - Earlier this week, Vikings coach Mike Tice said that Moss, who has missed three straight games with a partially torn right hamstring, would be held to 25 plays in Sunday's game against the Jaguars. But Moss' progress in practice this week prompted Tice to retract that statement Friday, saying that Moss won't be limited by any artificial play count.

Donkey, what he is saying is that Moss will play as long as he feels like, he won't be limited to just 20-25 plays like he originally said.

He'll be starting for me nonetheless.

no, Mick. What I am saying is that Tice's statements are known to be totally non-reliable.

Per Sportsline:

Randy Moss, WR MIN

News: Randy Moss (hamstring) has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable and won't be limited in Week 12. "The only thing that's holding him back is endurance in his legs -- and not necessarily (from) the injury," coach Mike Tice said. "He feels like he has training camp legs now; he hasn't done anything in five weeks.

Analysis: Tice has said all the right things this week abaout Moss, which makes it difficult to reserve the stud wide receiver.

As long as he can run down the field faster than anyone else 2 or 3 times that's good enough for me.

Exactly!

So its looks like Moss owners will have them in their line-up?

I will. I'm struggling for a wildcard spot at this point thanks to Randy's little vacation.

I know the feeling of playoff concern.
I'm in the #3 spot with three games remaining with 4 teams going to playoffs. However, 7 teams in our league are fighting four the 4th spot...things are that close!

I cannot afford to lose more then 1 game out of the final 3
