My guess is that it wasn't the divergence to non-football talk but rather the profanity, or acronym for a profane word, that was being discussed.

I didnt lock it, but my guess is that when the cussing started on page 3, that doomed the thread.

In the words of Shaggy, "It wasn't me!" I did think about moving it, though...

I was also hoping that since it was put in this forum it would stick to football things, but as you can see it didn't. As was previously stated, getting the bad words in there couldn't have helped. I stopped reading it after the non-football stuff started, so I didn't see the profanity until just now.
