if it is snowing or raining. in everyone's fantasy experience, how does it effect your players' performance/#s? does it effect prime time players as well, or only average fantasy players? would you not start or start a player based on what the weather predictions are?
Oh yes....I most certainly watch the weather forecast (especially this time of season). Obviously....playing in a dome will not alter my opinion if their is a blizzard outside.....but rain, wind, snow, bitter temeratures all play a role in a gameplan.

Good question. You'll see a lot of suggestions around fantasy football sites and boards to sit kickers or QB's based on bad weather. Or, predicting big days for RB's if snow or wind is expected.
I'd be very interested to see whether any of the statheads around here have any empirical data. Conventional wisdom says to play cold-weather QB's (Favre, Bledsoe, Brady, etc.) any time, but I'm not so sure its true. I do tend to buy into kickers playing indoors, but again, I have no data to back it up.

Just remember, the weather forecasts aren't always correct. I remember some dude posted that there will be severe weather in San Diego. That day, there was just a light breeze and Drew Brees threw for 4 or 5 tds. I can't believe that I benched him that day-that costs me the game.
i will sometimes adjust receivers, RBs, and kickers based on weather but generally only in really bad conditions. but i also dont have to set my lineup until 1:00 sunday so i can get the actual weather at the game.
Just do what I do, make it so your team a no depth to even worry about the weather. I have to start people. LOL

yeah, this one does, the weather is in the left hand column under the ads and if you click on the icon for your game tomorrow morning it will give up to the minute weather
