Seems to me if he could injure himself more by simply suiting up he'll certainly not play.

Really though, if you look at the standings you can see that the Packers don't necessarily need to win this game. If they win they're tied for 1st in the NFC North with Minnesota and, barring a complete collapse, are nearly guaranteed a wildcard spot in the playoffs. If they lose they are tied with St. Louis and Seattle at 6 - 5. St. Louis has the tiebreaker over Seattle, and Green Bay has the tiebreaker over Seattle. Not that they want to lose, but they can almost afford it.
Having said that, I can see logic both ways but mostly I just don't understand risking the rest of your season for one game. I say rest him and come back strong in week 13.
