My pick is Miami. They have the pieces it takes to be good, and I think next year they put them together. They'll get a high draft pick which should be used on a franchise QB. He'll be throwing to Chambers, Boston, and McMichael, who are adequate to say the least. Edgerrin James and Shaun Alexander will be free agents next year, and it would suprise me if one of them didn't end up in Miami. They're O line isn't great but you have to remember who's running behind it this year, not to mention having virtually no threat of a passing game in Feeley/Fiedler. They're defence will improve when the offence does. They are still a good group, but they are made to look bad when they have to be on the field 45 minutes a game.
KC.- Their demise is inexplicable. Oh, yeah, they need a defense.
Carolina- All they need is SSmith, Foster, Morgan, et al to be healthy for a full year next year. Almost as unlucky a team as the Dolphins were and absolutely ravaged by injuries.
Saints easily with a decent coach..and i say decent. Nick Saban anybody? he brings defensive intensity and knows how to run the ball. They have a the talent...just dreamin' of happy days.
Other than them I would say the Bills. They are really clicking rite now but its too late. Sounds like a Jag story of last season.
They've done admirably this year with all those injuries, with those guys back plus another year in Lovie's system they could really put together a good season.
