henry's likely out for the season.

is joe burns REALLY next in line? or do you think shaud williams is a better bet to take over in the event of a mcgahee injury?

oh, i don't know...
because buffalo has an easy remaining schedule?
because mcgahee is kind of an injury question mark anyway?
because if he goes down, i'd like to make sure i have a garaunteed starter?

Those guys are terrible though.

You think you'll start one of those scrubs in the fantasy playoffs?

no, it's about you hearing about a strategy and wanting to use it without fully utilizing it.

McGahee is a damn good runner behind a so-so line. An average runner would not do nearly as good. You handcuff in situations where the LINE makes a huge difference with the RBs (KC, Denver, to some extent GB, Baltimore etc). In other situations your contingency plan should be starting running backs from other teams.

If McGahee were to get hurt, snow flakes would be flying in hell before I'd start any other Bills' RB. Look elsewhere.

matmat, you sound pretty clever. how's that working out for you? great. keep it up, then.

i suppose that part and parcel with my inquiry was the interest in joe burns or shaud williams (or whomever) as a runner. i've never seen either play.

i know the line is weak. who's to say there's not someone else who could step in and...oh, you know what? never mind. this is probably basic ffl knowledge.

Travis Henry (a damn good runner in his own right) couldn't get it done behind the Buffalo line. Do you think they're going to strike lightning twice with some back-up sccrub?

Why is this even being discussed? Don't talk about such hateful things as Willis getting hurt.

so yeah, anyway.

10 attempts, 42 yards and a td. one reception for 10 yards. must be this shaud williams guy is ok--even behind that suspect offensive line.

makes a nice handcuff in the playoffs, i should think. especially with that cake schedule.
