News on Oakland RB?

Postby garretterik » Tue Nov 30, 2004 1:06 am

I watched the Denver-Oakland game last night and was impressed by Oakland and how hard Wheatley was hit. Any word on his injury and more importantly any word on who would supplant him as the starter. (In my league Zereoue, Fargas and Crockett are all available.) I would like to be the first on the WW.

QB T. Green (KC - QB)
WR J. Smith (Jac - WR)
WR R. Wayne (Ind - WR)
RB LT2 (SD - RB)
RB C. Dillon (NE - RB)
TE D. Clark (Ind - TE)
BN O Smith (Minn - RB)
BN R. Smith (Den - WR)
BN B Griese (TB - QB)
BN S Moss (NYJ - WR)
BN
BN M Muhammed (Car - WR)
K A. Vinatieri (NE - K)
DEF Denver (Den - DEF)
BN Washington (Was-DEF)

In my biggest money league, I have Zereoue as a backup who I might need to start next weekend.

So it will probably be Fargas.

Huggie Bear has looked horrible all year (and pretty much his entire career).

The best moment of the season was him getting HURT on a 1-yard TD plunge. All he did is softly jump into a pile into the endzone. It wasn't like he got hit or anything. It was his only carry on that day vs. Indy.

Then after watching the game, I hear he's hurt. He sits 3 of the next 4 games.

I wouldn't touch any Raider RB. I'd probably start Croom or Scobey over any Raider RB.
