Final words
If washington had any what of an offense they would have beaten the steelers by 10 to 13 points
He did have a not so good game a nd they won so that's great
However those types of games will not produce rings

Right now he's doing exactly what he needs to do, and his team is winning.

Dallas. He single handedly won that game for them. They had to play from behind and the defense was not playing well almost the entire game. I think Ben threw 12 straight completions as part of their come from behind victory, something like that, but he just made big play after big play (like shovel passing to the TE in the flat while being dragged to the ground by two defenders on a blitz to get 1st and 10 instead of 3 and 15).

Ben has the tools. Size, agility, arm strength, intelligence.

Also, realize that he didn't even attend all of training camp and was viewed as at best "1 year away". So he is picking up a lot of the offense on the fly. He knows his roll and plays with in the offense. He has a good head on his shoulders and will continue to get better and better. As a Steelers fan you have to love his potential.

Not a big game is freaking right
If your a coach you know what i am talking about
A big game is when you have a lot to lose. Identity, playoffgame or streak
The big game rode on New England and Philly
New Englands winning streak/Philly being favorite I call that added pressure
Steelers had nothing to lose
Now when Benny will but not this year

I guess that Marino stinks because he never won any big games.

Im not saying Ben stinks dumbass
I am saying that his performance right now is nothing more than average
Marino was great but yes not winning a superbowl affects him when you talk about the elite whether we like it or not
Ben is doing what is asked at this time. There will come a time to prove that he can throw more than 25 times a game and complete a high percentage to be able to win
I am saying his stats and ability do not say he will do that at this time

No im not even say benny is overrated im just stating he has not proven himself yet
Yes he has proven to his coaches that he can do what is asked but not much more
You don't realize that i am strictly talking about him as a quarterback
Interceptions, indecisiveness and not proving to me that he can throw and complete high percentage passes. He was underthrowing all his recievers last week and that has what he has been doin on a consistent basis when its a high percentage throw. Five-seven yards in and outs.
Now am i saying he will not improve or be real good ? No
Im just answering the first post
Is he being overhyped at this time
I say yes
Now dumbass for Marino. Obviously you wouldn't have brought it up if it was a constant debate in football History. Does not wining the big game demerit a Quarterbcacks career? Im not here to answer or debate that. Marino was one of the best however i feel the most important thing in sports beside building a team first (chemistry) is winning, winning winning
Yes taht is what Benny is doing so that is great for the analysts to hype on but for his performances no i do not think he has proven himself and will not this year
