WEEK 13 PBC: Bungles @ Baltimore

I've never worn a PB before...man...up 20-3. They give up 453 yards. Good defense? Please....

not gonna let it die.

a victory despite the homefield referees. sheesh...that "excessive celebration" call against houshmandzadeh was horsecrap. what did he do? bump chests? and that's worse than some of the epileptic spasms we see every game? i was seething.

but not nearly as burnt as the "illegal contact" call on tory james that negated the forced fumble with 3 minutes to go. cbs showed the replay twice. tory did nothing illegal. not remotely.

and the announcers made no mention of it.

a win is a win, and it was a great game...but i'm still a little toasty after those piss-poor calls.

The Prime Time crew gave us some love, though...they showed the Housh play. Definitely did NOT look like an Unsportsmanlike.

Celebrating by yourself, no matter how excessive it is, is okay. Sharpies, cell phones, you name it. It's all okay.

But celebrating with the rest of your team, who helped you score the touchdown, is not okay.

It's all because football is about "me, me, me" and not "we, we, we," right? Of course.

houshy and chad johnson bumped chests after tj's score.

i can't fathom how that behavior is unacceptable in light of all the horseshiz going around the league, now. terrell owens is right, "the nfl stands for the no fun league."



but on top of that call was the "illegal touch" called against tory james after the ravens had turned the ball over on a fumble. replays showed nothing strange at all. just a real cause for consternation...were the bengals just "not supposed" to win that game? makes you wonder. or at least, it made me wonder.
