The #%@!ing Walter Jones Situation!

Postby DUKE » Fri Aug 08, 2003 11:10 am

Does anyone have any thoughts on what will happen with this situation? Anyone have any opinions about when or whether he will suit up? My God, they went through this crap last year. :-o
Has there been any signs of optimism? They may have a little more depth at the position, but he clearly seems to make the offensive line and the rest of the offense better when he plays.
I have some a lot of fantasy investment in the Seahawk Offense and have been crossing my fingers for them to get Jones in there.

Who knows. I mean seriously..when you're offering the guy a contract to be the 2nd highest paid OL-man in the NFL for a full year and he still says no..

what's more important? Playing or paying?

I found myself asking this same ? the other day.Does he just not like training camp? Are the seahawks not trying hard enough to get him signed?A little of both maybe?

All I know is this is THE year the Hawks must step up.And they will need ALL of their players. So hopefully they can work it out THIS week and get him in their last two preseason games.

This is giving me one more reason to hate FSU!!!

NO Florida Gator would hold his team hostage like this.

Unfortunatly, he wants Ogden type of money. The Hawks aint going to pay that. Until one of the sides caves in, we won't see him until after the seaon starts.

Did you see that Pace was in the same boat, but only took the one year tender?
